Jewelry Design

During this eight-week course, students design and create their own jewelry. The course covers stringing, knotting, wire wrapping, French wire, and finishing techniques. Projects include a variety of styles, from single- and multi-strand beaded necklaces with different endings to wire-wrapped bead and chain necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

Instructor: Faye Rouhi is the owner of Faye Rouhi Designs, where she has been creating custom apparel and accessories for more than twenty years. Her new jewelry line, FayeLei Custom Jewels, launched in November 2009. Rouhi holds a BA from Gisson University (Germany).
