Children in grades K-5 can develop dribbling, passing, shooting and defensive skills while building self-confidence at a week-long basketball camp at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Led by youth recreation specialist and basketball coach Peter Sylvester, the camp is offered June 24-28 from 9am-4pm. Schedule includes drills in the morning and games and outdoor free swim in the afternoon. Cost for the week is $440. The camp will also be held July 8-12 and August 12-16.
