Use your imagination to plan, build, and test your own rocket design at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Monday, December 30 at 11am. The Museum of Science staff will be on hand to help children create an air rocket that launches across the room, and engineer a way for a payload to return safely to Earth. This hands-on workshop explores the science behind rockets and space exploration. Please note that latex balloons will be used in this program. Cost is $12. JCC member cost is $10.
