Children ages 3-5 years old will learn basic body awareness, balancing and tumbling in a nine-week karate class at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton.

Children ages 3-5 years old will learn basic body awareness, balancing and tumbling in a nine-week karate class at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Classes are offered on Sundays, January 12-March 23 from 3-3:45pm. Participants will also be introduced to social skills and learn about basic Japanese/Asian culture. Cost is $215. Classes will also be held on Mondays, January 13-March 24 from 2:30-3:15pm. Open to the entire community. Register at www.bostonjcc.org/register.
