Celebrate the New Year of the Trees and Shabbat together at an environmentally friendly Shabbat dinner, with lots of singing, wine and new fruits. Learn about the the rich Jewish tradition of caring for our world and ways to express both your religious and environmental concerns. Shabbat dinner at Makor is a feast for the body and spirit. Partake of a gourmet meal accompanied by traditional prayers and lively melodies and converse with new and interesting people. The dinner also includes a short, stimulating talk given from a variety of Jewish perspectives. Registration required by the Wednesday before the dinner.
