A large-scale Zumba group fitness class with a DJ and boot camp class with more than ten stations are part of a free fitness open house at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Sunday, January 11. The Zumba class will be held from 8-8:45am and 9:30-10:15am. Boot Camp will be held from 8:45-9:30am and 10:15-11am. JCC personal trainers will lead the Boot Camp class using TRX straps, kettlebells, battle ropes and other nontraditional training tools. The event is open to the entire community.
