ETGAR KERET Israel's popular young writer Etgar Keret is at once court jester, literary crown prince, and national conscience. His painfully funny and honest books, including The Bus Driver Who Wanted to be God and Jetlag, have earned him international recognition. In a rare West Coast engagement, Keret reads from his latest collection of short stories, The Nimrod Flipout, recently named by the Los Angeles Times one of the top twenty-five works of fiction in 2006. A book signing will follow the program. $10 General, $8 Skirball Members, $5 Full-Time Students Advance tickets available on site at the Skirball, or via TicketWeb at www. or (866) 468-3399
