Afternoon Photography Hike to Cascade Falls

Sunday, May 6th -- Afternoon Photography Hike to Cascade Falls in Patapsco State Park. Join us for some discussion on how to photograph water and waterfalls followed by an easy 1.5 mile hike to Cascade Falls in Ellicott City, Maryland. We will then spend some time photographing the falls and the rest of the scenery as we return. Optional walk around historic Ellicott City to follow the hike. Meet at Bean Hollow (coffee, sandwiches and snacks) in Historic Ellicott City at 1:00 p.m. We will then carpool (2 miles) to the trailhead. Please wear waterproof shoes as we will be crossing the creek. Optional photographic equipment: camera, tripod (necessary for long exposures), polarization filter, instructional manual if you do not know how to set your camera for
