FRI NOV 9 – MON NOV 12 Appalachian TRAIL Veterans DAY Weekend IN ST Anthony’S Wilderness, PA Three days of hikes along the Appalachian Trail through the St Anthony’s Wilderness which is the largest wilderness area in Pennsylvania. Hikes range in length from 11 to 16 miles and will require very early morning starts. The series will end with a dramatic crossing of the Susquehanna River into Ducannon, PA the halfway point of the AT between Maine and Georgia. Non hikers can see the sights of Hershey, Hawk Mountain and the Pennsylvania Dutch country and socialize with the hiker’s to swap war stories at days end. You can work most of Friday the 9th. We’re just meeting in the evening so we can start the hiking early on Saturday. Please call leader for details an
