The day’s events include live music with the Meshuggah Beach Party, Sugar Shack, Rabbi Bloom, a magic show, clowns/balloon artists, a bouncy castle, shofar making and much more. There will be over 35 booths representing the East Bay Jewish community’s wealth of programs and organizations that make a difference here and around the world There are many ways to get involved; your help is needed. Attend a PicnicFest planning BBQ: Thursday, August 16th or Thursday, September 6th. Or, volunteer on the day of the event and receive a free PicnicFest t-shirt. Duties and shifts include: set-up, welcome table, beer garden, ice cream distribution, site assistance and clean-up. Pack a lunch and join other Jewish community members.
