Would you love to see their passenger and census records, city directory listings, military, naturalization, birth, death, and marriage records, and more? Are you longing to reconstruct your family tree to pass on to your children, but think the process is too overwhelming or time-consuming to tackle on your own? Think again. This one-day seminar about searching online resources will give you the inspiration, motivation, and tools to begin your own research project.
Moderator: Pamela Weisberger is program chair of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Los Angeles and an expert on archival city directories, newspaper resources, and court records.
Presenters: Ron Arons is a computer industry veteran and an expert on prison records as sources for genealogical research. Suzanne Russo Adams works for the website www.ancestry.com and currently serves on the boards of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Utah Genealogical Association. Beau Sharbrough is an expert on searching the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration and is a representative of the historical documents website www.footnote.com.
