To honor and celebrate the achievements of Rabbi Harold M. Schulweis and to mark the establishment of the Harold M. Schulweis Institute, Temple Valley Beth Shalom is hosting “A Conversation of the Learned.” A leader in the Conservative Jewish movement, Harold S. Kushner will open the inaugrual symposium series. A renowned author, philosopher and lecturer, Kushner is Rabbi Laureate of Temple Israel in Natick, Massachusetts. His books include the best-seller “When Bad Things Happen to Good People”, “How Good Do We Have to Be?” and “Who Needs God”.
