The Faith Alliance of Metro Atlanta (FAMA) and The Atlanta Community Food Bank will join forces on Tuesday, June 5, at 7 p.m., at the Food Bank headquarters in Atlanta to lead the local faith-based celebration of Hunger Awareness Day in a special city-wide convocation titled, The Faces of Hunger and Hope. The event will be part of a several different affairs being held throughout the city to celebrate Hunger Awareness Day. The Food Bank’s interfaith ceremony will be one of dozens of similar recognitions in U.S. cities across the country.
