Washington Valley Park

Sunday, September 21 - HIKE / HAWK WATCH at Washington Valley PARK in Bridgewater, NJ (B/C): 3-4 Hour Hike through Washington Valley Park which consists of Pine and Hemlock forests, open freshwater wetland marshes, impressive rock outcroppings, numerous historic features and a 21-acre reservoir. We will climb over two small ridges and see several streams. This is also the location for the Chimney Rock Hawk Watch with the Audubon Society. Well over 1000 raptors pass through this area in a day during peak season. Will meet at the Newman's Lane Parking Lot at 10:40am. Optional going to a restaurant afterward. Please call after 8 :00AM on day of event to confirm schedule. Adverse weather will cancel. Hiking boots and binoculars strongly recommended. Contact B
