Besa: Muslims Who Saved Jews During the Holocaust

Almost all Jews living within Albanian borders during the German occupation – those of Albanian origin and refugees alike – were saved. Explanations and a running commentary accompany the service, so that even people less familiar with it feel more connected. The service is followed by a full-scale, gourmet Shabbat meal. MLK Shabbat: Visions of Justice and Freedom
