Exercises are things like our basic warm up steps for a dance, a simple routine, practice figures and freestyle dancing using a simple figure. The exercises are designed to improve the skills you use in partner dancing. Like Zumba with social dance steps. This is meant to be a workout, not a class.

If you missed the 101-a and b classes, make sure you are on time. We will quickly review, before moving on. For Salsa and Rumba, you need to be able to keep the basic Quick, Quick Slow rhythm, to be able to keep up. If you cannot, you are still welcome to join us, if you do not mind being lost.

Good News for those of you who do not do Facebook. I will upload the class on Youtube after the Live session and email everyone the link, so you can take the class as often as you like after the live session ends.
When you tune in to each class, you can interact with us and hundreds of dancers around the world in the chat area. Please check in and let us know you are there and where you are located, so we and others can connect with you. You never know who you might meet. It is fun to interact with each other in-between the dances and or teaches.

Sun 31 May 2020, 2-5 pm. It's "What? Huh? Wow! at Home!"
I've been doing a once-in-a-while program called What? Huh? Wow! (WHW) where I play the dances I don't - and often can't - play at a "regular" session: they're too old, too obscure, too far off the beaten path. In other words, the dances YOU want to do!
Problem is, due to the nature of the dances, it's hard to get a group on the dance floor who can do them. But now, since "the dance floor" is everyone's homes around the world, we can!
So I'm going to do a WHW@H on Zoom for all who want to do That Kind of dances. Sunday, May 31, at 2pm East Coast time (11am West Coast, 1pm Central, 1900 England, 2100 Israel, etc) for 2 hours (or until we run out - ha!). Send requests by email ahead of time or by Chat during the event. I'll play a mix of requests and dances that have very old (or no) dates listed next to them in my play history.
