The FloorPlay series is all about exploring the art of floor work and making it your own. In this series, we will break down foundational floor moves like rollovers, candlesticks, and smooth transitions, giving you the tools to play, experiment, and infuse your unique style into each move. Instead of focusing on choreography, you will have the freedom to discover how these movements flow naturally in your body. Perfect for anyone looking to elevate their freestyles and build confidence on the floor.
Level:
This series is for all levels but not for the absolutely beginner. Modifications will be provided for upper and lower level students. It is recommended that you have taken at least a couple of Level 1 classes prior to signing up for this class.

Sat 25 Jan, 10-11 am. This series of guided meditations, led by instructors from the UF Mindfulness team, is inspired by art in the Harn collections and held at the museum. Take a break from your regular schedule to slow down, experience stillness, and re-charge. Forty minutes of guided meditation is followed by an art spotlight tour.
Facilitator: Sarit Sela
Nia is a joyful blend of dance, martial arts, and intuitive movement to music after tuning their bodies and senses. SloMo is a slower, guided movement flow and meditation designed to promote balance and inner peace. Beginners welcome.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes (or are even invited to participate without shoes).
