Nia empowers people of all shapes and sizes to connect to their body, mind, emotions and spirit by paying attention to sensation.
This one-hour class is perfect for all levels of experience and fitness.

Come dancing at GODS contra mini-weekend with the band Turnip the Beet and caller Andrea Nettleton.
Turnip the Beet is a dance band duo from Nashville, Tennessee. Rooted in the traditions of Southern Appalachia and their local contra dances, Kelsey Wells and Jeremy Lekich combine fiddle, banjo, guitar, percussion, and the occasional mbira in an innovative and jubilant musical harvest. Expect to hear an organic mix of eclectic tunes from the American South, Ireland, Cape Breton, Quebec, and Scandinavia, as well as a half-bushel of grooving, homegrown originals.
Andrea Nettleton, a caller from Atlanta, will keep you moving in a clear and confident way.

Want to learn tango? Come join the UF Argentine Tango Club for a free beginner tango class. Feel free to join even if you have never danced tango before, there are teachers for whatever level you might be.
Who: Everyone can come. The beginner class is geared for people who have never danced before or who want to practice the basics. The intermediate class is for those who have been to at least some classes and is for you if you feel ready and confident enough to learn some new steps. The advanced class is for those who have been dancing for a long while now and will feature more complicated steps, so ask a teacher to make sure you are experienced enough for this level.

The University of Florida’s annual climate-communications summit aims to help UF faculty, staff and students – along with other professionals and members of the public – gain expertise and collaborate to improve understanding of climate change and its impacts local to global.
The centerpiece of this year’s summit is a Climate Communications Café where faculty, staff and students from across disciplines and other groups working to tell the story of climate change can come together to share work and brainstorm best practices and ways to collaborate.

Want to learn tango? Come join the UF Argentine Tango Club for a free beginner tango class. Feel free to join even if you have never danced tango before, there are teachers for whatever level you might be.
Who: Everyone can come. The beginner class is geared for people who have never danced before or who want to practice the basics. The intermediate class is for those who have been to at least some classes and is for you if you feel ready and confident enough to learn some new steps. The advanced class is for those who have been dancing for a long while now and will feature more complicated steps, so ask a teacher to make sure you are experienced enough for this level.

The Eastern Indigo Snake was listed as a Threatened species in 1978 under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. This species has been experiencing decline throughout their range due to habitat loss and fragmentation. Animal professionals, academics and government organizations were able to team up to begin reintroducing the Eastern Indigo Snake back into areas where they have been completely extirpated.
The Eastern Indigo Snake repatriation project is a complex combined effort to bring a critical species back into the environment. The Central Florida Zoo's Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation (OCIC) is the sole facility that breeds and raises these snakes for reintroduction. Want to learn tango? Come join the UF Argentine Tango Club for a free beginner tango class. Feel free to join even if you have never danced tango before, there are teachers for whatever level you might be.
Who: Everyone can come. The beginner class is geared for people who have never danced before or who want to practice the basics. The intermediate class is for those who have been to at least some classes and is for you if you feel ready and confident enough to learn some new steps. The advanced class is for those who have been dancing for a long while now and will feature more complicated steps, so ask a teacher to make sure you are experienced enough for this level.
